Diablo 4 Hits $1 Billion Milestone, Earns $150M from Microtransactions Alone

Blizzard Entertainment’s Diablo 4 continues to be a major financial success, with recent revelations showing the game has generated over $1 billion in total revenue. A significant portion of that, over $150 million, comes from microtransactions alone.

This information was spotted by Gamepressure and “leaked” through the LinkedIn profile of Harrison Froeschke, senior product manager at Blizzard, which offered a rare glimpse into the breakdown of the game’s earnings. His LinkedIn profile is currently offline.

According to Froeschke’s now-hidden LinkedIn post, he played a key role in shaping Diablo 4‘s monetization strategy. His responsibilities included overseeing the store’s cosmetic offerings, determining pricing structures and developing bundle offers.

Froeschke also played a vital part in long-term roadmap planning, all of which contributed to driving over $150 million in lifetime revenue from microtransactions.
