Before proceeding, it’s important to mention that this article includes spoilers about Dragonflight: Seeds of Renewal.
In World of Warcraft, Shandris Feathermoon is now leading the Night Elves, and Tess Greymane is in charge of the Worgen. This leadership transition occurred during the epilogue quests featured in World of Warcraft Patch 10.2.5: Seeds of Renewal
In a cinematic, Malfurion Stormrage reunites with his wife, Tyrande Whisperwind. Instead of reclaiming their positions at the forefront, both of them decide to take a retirement.
According to a tweet on X from World of Warcraft enthusiast Portergauge, the leadership of the Kaldorei is passed on to Shandris Feathermoon, their adopted daughter and the leader of the Sentinels.
Okay wow, so Shandris is just. Leader of the night elves now. They’re making it very explicit that Tyrande is getting her break lol
No quests after this, it seems, just a quick and extremely explicit happy ending for all the night elf stuff. pic.twitter.com/qj2GdExtTy

Portergauge also posted about the Reclaiming Gilneas storyline, where Genn Greymane passes the leadership of Gilneas to Tess, his daughter.
So yeah Tess fully is just queen now, not a ‘she’ll be queen soon’ but right now, and Genn is just going to be with the Alliance in general.
Nice little worgen-specific toy on the grave to give a free hearth, so that’s nice. Other than these two bits, not much for them sadly. pic.twitter.com/V02Fbm0134
