Sarah Bond, the President of Xbox, has stated that Xbox has become the top choice for Diablo IV players.
That the Microsoft console is the number one platform for Diablo 4 isn’t surprising, considering that the game is now available on Xbox Game Pass. Despite the genre’s usual popularity on PC, the inclusion of Diablo IV on the subscription service has garnered significant interest from console users, establishing Xbox as the leading platform for the game.
“We are integrating Activision Blizzard King titles into our services — we launched Diablo IV into Game Pass, and Xbox has quickly become the #1 platform for D4 players,” Sarah Bond, in an exclusive interview with Windows Central
More Blizzard games to Xbox?
Microsoft recently bought Activision Blizzard for $69 billion and is slowly adding their games to Game Pass. Phil Spencer hasn’t said when other Blizzard games will be added or which ones exactly.
For quite some time, there has been ongoing discussion about the potential of bringing World of Warcraft to consoles. During BlizzCon 2023, Holly Longdale, the Vice President and Executive Producer for World of Warcraft, shared with Gameradar that Blizzard Entertainment is indeed intrigued by the concept and often engages in discussions about it.
