Activision Blizzard dropped hints about Diablo 4 potentially joining Xbox Game Pass.
With the gaming community eagerly awaiting the approval of the Microsoft deal, fans have been wondering if upcoming and recent Activision Blizzard games will be on Xbox Game Pass. In a recent tweet, the company said:
“It’s awesome to see anticipation building for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. As we continue to work toward regulatory approval of the Microsoft deal, we’ve been getting some questions whether our upcoming and recently launched games will be available via Game Pass.”
The tweet clarified that Modern Warfare III and Diablo 4 won’t be on Game Pass this year, but it’s not all bad news. Activision Blizzard plans to team up with Xbox once the merger is complete to bring their games to a wider audience worldwide. The publisher also hinted that, “we anticipate that we would begin adding games into Game Pass sometime in the course of next year.”
