World of Warcraft: Season of Discovery has started strong, drawing massive popularity with long waiting queues and some servers locked due to high demand. However, there are issues with certain new game elements Battle of Ashenvale not functioning as they should.
In World of Warcraft Season of Discovery a cool new feature was introduced called the Battle of Ashenvale. In this event, an elite NPC for each faction spawns, and the goal is to take out the enemy leader before the other team—similar to how things work in Alterac Valley. Players also have to complete objectives along the way, making it a fun PvPvE experience.
However, there’s a problem. The developers have noticed that the whole event gets stuck under certain conditions. Reports on Twitter highlighted the issue, and the official Warcraft account and Senior Game Producer Josh Greenfield have responded. The problem specifically occurs when two or more lieutenants die at the same time.
Ashenvale PvPers –
We’re aware of groups who are abruptly moved to another layer and working on this now.
Will provide an update as soon as we have one. 🛠️

Really sorry if you end up in a stuck ashenvale. We are going to try and fix this before Monday if possible. We know what causes it and are trying a few different fixes. Thanks for your patience. https://t.co/QLVYjALINO
