Blizzard Grants World of Warcraft players on North American Realms Extra Game Time for Downtime

In a gesture of goodwill, Blizzard Entertainment is compensating players for the extended downtime experienced during the launch of the pre-expansion content update for The War Within. The publisher recognizes that the first day of the update caused significant disruption, particularly for players on North American realms.

On July 23, 2024, many players found themselves unable to access the game for an extended period due to necessary maintenance. This prolonged downtime affected not only North American players but also those in Latin America, Australia, and New Zealand. Acknowledging the inconvenience caused, Blizzard has announced that they will be adding one extra day of game time to all active subscriptions in these regions.

This compensation applies to *all accounts that were active as of July 23, 2024. The additional game time will be automatically credited, allowing players to enjoy an extra day of gameplay without any additional cost.
