Blizzard reveals Diablo 4 Open Beta Date

Blizzard revealed today during the IGN Fan Fest that Diablo 4’s open beta will begin next month, with players able to access the game over two weekends in March. The first of those weekends, however, will be a limited beta open only to those who have preordered the game. Nevertheless, the second weekend has been designated as an open beta, and this is when the bulk of gamers will be able to test Diablo 4.

The Diablo 4 beta will be focused on the Prologue and Act 1, according to Blizzard, with players able to advance up to level 25 throughout both weekends. It wasn’t said whether or not all of the classes will be accessible in this beta (for context, two classes, the Necromancer and the Druid, were unavailable in our hands-on preview of Diablo 4), so it’s uncertain if all of the roles will be playable at this time.
