Blizzard is gearing up for Season 3 in Diablo 4, and we’ll soon have more details about the new season. The release date is expected to be around the end of Season 2, likely on Tuesday, January 23.
Blizzard is working on a Campfire Chat stream to discuss what players can expect in Diablo 4 Season 3. Although the launch is less than three weeks away, the developers have limited time to prepare the player base for the new seasonal theme and balance updates.
Diablo community manager Adam ‘PezRadar’ Fletcher assures everyone that more information about Diablo’s Season 3, including the stream date, will be shared in the coming weeks. He also confirms that the release won’t be delayed, aligning with the end of Season 2.
Not yet – but everyone will hear more about it in the coming weeks along with a stream date.

Some confirmed features for Season 3 include The Gauntlet, an endgame challenge dungeon similar to Diablo 3’s Challenge Rifts. Additionally, Diablo 4 Helltides will be on a nearly constant rotation, making it more convenient for players to farm Forgotten Souls and Living Steel chests without logging in at specific times.
Lead class designer Adam Jacksonalso tweeted:
It’s 2 am and my mind is racing creating Diablo 4/ARPG balance philosophy presentations that I want to share with the team and the public.
Please send help.
