Diablo 4

To play Diablo 4 on PC Game Pass, you still need a Battle.net account

Starting tomorrow, March 28th, Diablo 4 will be accessible on both PC and Xbox Game Pass. Microsoft has unveiled the steps required to access the PC Game Pass version on X.

To play Diablo 4 on PC Game Pass, you’ll need to connect your Microsoft account, along with your Game Pass subscription, to your Battle.net account. Afterward, you can launch the game directly through Battle.net. Therefore, once your account is linked to Battle.net, you won’t need to use the Xbox app on PC anymore.

Microsoft bought Activision Blizzard for $69 billion and they’re adding Activision Blizzard games to Game Pass slowly. Phil Spencer hasn’t said when other Blizzard games will be added.

Diablo 4 will not be available to all Xbox Game Pass subscribers.

Game Pass Core replaced Xbox Live Gold in September. President Sarah Bond said all 34 million Game Pass subscribers could play Diablo 4, but Kari Perez clarified that Diablo IV will be available on Xbox Game Pass on March 28th, except for Game Pass Core subscribers:
“The 34 million Game Pass membership number is accurate. Diablo IV is coming to Xbox Game Pass on March 28th, with the exception of the Xbox Game Pass Core catalog,” says Kari Perez in a statement to The Verge.

Xbox Game Pass Core offers benefits like online multiplayer gaming, free games, and discounts. It’s cheaper than Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
