Blizzard president Johanna Faries revealed the new Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred Mercenaries trailer at gamescom 2004.
The new trailer highlights the companions that players can recruit. During the live stream, Geoff Keighley and Eefje Sjokz Depoortere took center stage in Germany during the gamescom 2024 opening night, joined by thousands of fans on-site and Blizzard President Johanna Faries.
InDiablo 4 Vessel of Hatred, players will exploreDiablo 2’s jungle world, Nahantu, and confront Mephisto, the Prime Evil who abducted our comrade following the events of the base game. Blizzard has stated that the main storyline of Diablo 4 will only progress through major expansions, not seasonal updates. Vessel of Hatred will release on October 8th this year.
