This weekend, Azeroth is inviting all players with inactive World of Warcraft accounts to return to the game without the need for a subscription or Game Time.
In World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Classic, players will have the choice between using old or new character models, along with some essential engine updates. Also Cataclysm Classic aims to rectify certain problems from the original release, including faster leveling from 1-80, a more rapid patch release schedule, account-wide appearances, and more. Classic Cataclysm will also introduce new races (Goblin and Worgen), Archaology profession and Transmog.
To get players back to the World of Warcraft, Blizzard is hosting a “Welcome Back Weekend”. This means that players with inactive WoW accounts full access to World of Warcraft Classic realms.

Rejoin your guild, rally your comrades, and prepare to face new challenges. Cataclysm Classic launches on May 20, 2024, at 3 p.m. PDT worldwide.
