Xbox releases Fallout-inspired controllers

The Xbox Design Lab now features four controller designs inspired by Fallout.

Each of the four designs includes the Fallout Pip-Boy on the ‘top shell’ and ‘side cap,’ unique to the Xbox Design Lab. They also have their own distinct color schemes. The Vault Dweller design sports Shock Blue and metallic Lightening Yellow, the Brotherhood design is in Storm Grey and metallic Pulse Red, the Pip-Boy variant features Nocturnal Green and Desert Tan, and the Mutant color scheme showcases Carbon Black and metallic Velocity Green.

However, in terms of features, these Fallout-inspired controllers don’t offer anything beyond the standard Xbox Wireless controller. They lack Elite Series back paddles found in some top PC controllers. The Fallout faceplate designs start at $84.98
