World of Warcraft is reintroducing past anniversary rewards for its upcoming 20th anniversary. Many of these collectibles haven’t been available since their original anniversary events, with a pet making a return after 16 years.
World of Warcraft’s 20th anniversary event is scheduled from October 22 to January 7. However, some items being offered haven’t been obtainable for over a decade. Blizzard has previously gifted free items for major anniversaries. Once these events ended, the items became unavailable. Now, most of these anniversary rewards are returning, and can be purchased from a special vendor in exchange for Bronze Celebration Tokens.
All rewards will require Bronze Celebration Tokens, which can be earned by completing quests and participating in various events:
Item | Type | Anniversary |
---|---|---|
Baby Blizzard Bear | Pet | 4th Anniversary |
Hatespark the Tiny | Pet | 10th Anniversary |
Onyxian Whelping | Pet | 5th Anniversary |
Molten Corgi | Pet | 10th Anniversary |
Lil’Nefarian | Pet | 15th Anniversary |
Core Hound Chain | Mount | 10th Anniversary |
Obsidian Worldbreaker | Mount | 15th Anniversary |
The two mounts cost only 20 Bronze Celebration Tokens, the pets are 10 Bronze Celebration Tokens.
Besides this, it’s also possible to gain the iconic Tier 2 set with new looks (Blizzard also added sets for the new classes), and new 20th Anniversary rewards like the Blue Armored Phoenix Mount and Anniversary Transmog to celebrate 30 years of Warcraft.
