Battle For Azeroth: Patch 8.3 Visions of N’Zoth completely revealed by Blizzard

Ion Hazzikostas has given us more information on the next content patch for World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth. Ion explains everything in the video below, but you can find our summary below.

The next patch will be called Visions of N’Zoth and give us a lot of new game play options and explain more about the story we have been working towards the entire expansion. Everything will lead to the final raid, Ny’alotha The Waking City. This is a 12 boss raid which will show the power of the Black Empire. Before you’ll be able to go, there is enough to do.

N’Zoth will be the first old god that will be fully unleashed on the world. We will travel to Ny’Alotha, which isn’t just a place, it is all around us. N’Zoth is breaking the barrier between the two worlds, bringing his dark vissions to Azeroth. The minions of N’Zoth will attack our world, and we will have to defend it. While doing so, we will enter rifts to defeat his minions.

This will start with a new feature called assaults. These will happen in Uldum and the Vale of Eternal Blossoms, two places where Titan facilities are active. If you complete enough of these, you will be able to enter the Horrific Visions. These are 1 to 5 player quests in and around Stormwind and Orgrimmar. These will not be easy. N’Zoth is very strong and you will eventually have to retreat out of there. But each time you visit, you will go further and you will learn more. You won’t go alone though. Wrathion has been studying the old gods and has found a way to help you defeat N’Zoth. He will create with you a Legendary Cloak which will strengthen in time, with which you will be able to delve deeper and deeper into the Visions, to unlock more mysteries behind the powers of your Cloak and N’Zoth. This will come in handy further down the road, when you will have to face N’Zoth himself. Through Titan Research Archive, Magni and Mother will analyze the cloak, learning more about it, and making it even stronger.

Titanforging might be changed

Next to all this information, Ion discussed that they are looking into changing the way Titanforging works. They want to embrace what NĀ“Zoth is doing to the world, which means that Titanforging might be a lot darker and change in the way it works. If Blizzard made this change because of the success of Classic is still unclear, but they definitely heard the community when they said Titanforging needs to change.

New Allied Races

The Vulpera will join the Horde, while Alliance will get the Mecha Gnomes.
