Season of the Construct

Diablo 4 delays The Gauntlet & Leaderboards: “Decided to take a bit more time to polish a few things up”

The release of The Gauntlet & Leaderboards in Diablo 4 has been postponed.

The Gauntlet is Diablo 4’s answer for the Leaderboard. Each week players battle to get the highest scores possible. The Gauntlet will be a dungeon accessible after players reach World Tier 4, and top placed players will get a permanent place in the Hall of the Ancients. The good part is, you don’t have to reach Level 100 to access it.

Before Season 3 released, Blizzard announced that The Gauntlet & Leaderboard wouldn’t be available right away. According to Adam Fletcher, the Community Lead for the Diablo Franchise, they want players to experience and learn from the season with their characters before launching the leaderboards.

Rod Fergusson, Diablo General Manager, shared on X that the development team wants to make some additional improvements. As a result, they’ve decided to delay the Gauntlet & Leaderboards in Season 3. The exact release date for these features will be shared soon.
