Diablo 4

Diablo 4’s The Gauntlet is inactive during the final week of the season

Blizzard has announced that Diablo 4’s The Gauntlet will not be active for the last week of this and future seasons.

Diablo 4 introduces The Gauntlet as its version of the Leaderboard, where players compete each week to achieve the highest scores. This dungeon becomes accessible after reaching World Tier 4, and those who secure top positions will earn a permanent spot in the Hall of the Ancients. Notably, players don’t need to reach Level 100 to access it. Players will be able to increase their score by killing enemies, bosses, and each class has its own leaderboard.

PezRadar, the Community Manager, has now announced on the official Blizzard forum that players are reporting they cannot see the Gauntlet for the final week of the season.
For that reason, Gauntlets will not occur during the final week of a season, both for this season and future ones. PezRadar mentioned that the teams were working on a hotfix to deliver these in the coming days, but unfortunately, they did not go out as planned.

Hi all –

We have seen a few reports of players not being able to see the Gauntlet for the final week of the season.
Gauntlets for this season and for future seasons will not occur during the final week of a season. This is due to the final week of the season would have some additional complexities during its wind down period before we begin each new season.
We apologize for not pre-informing on this but Gauntlet will be back for the first week of Season 4 next week.
