Blizzard Entertainment has just released the Year in Numbers report for Diablo 4, revealing the undeniable champions of the realm – the Sorcerer and Necromancer!
To ring in the new year, Blizzard dropped some cool stats in ‘The Year in Numbers’ for 2023. The post only has a few numbers, like hardcore Diablo 4 warriors experienced death 2.4 million times, bravely facing peril in the face of 1 trillion monsters slain.
The notorious Butcher mini-boss laid claim to an extraordinary number of lives, tallying up a staggering 37 million player defeats.
The Burning Hells in #DiabloIV claimed many in 2023.

At BlizzCon 2023, MeinMMO editor Benedict Grothaus interviewed Joe Piepiora and Tiffany Wat about the new expansion, Vessel of Hatred, the game’s current status, and its future in 2024.
Blizzard has stated that the main storyline of Diablo 4 will only progress through major expansions, not seasonal updates. The German outlet asked about the potential increase in the maximum level, but the developers refrained from discussing it at this time. Therefore, it remains uncertain whether the Vessel of Hatred will result in a raised level cap for characters.
