Past night, Blizzard released a hotfix that should help lower the queue times for players entering the servers for World of Warcraft: Classic.
The recent days, players have been waiting in queues for hours, wanting to play on the more popular servers. Blizzard has seen this issue and tries to fight it by increasing the Realm capacities. In lay mans terms, this means that more players can be logged in on the same time in a server.
Check out the blue post below:
With hotfixes that we are currently deploying to all WoW Classic realms, we are substantially increasing the number of players that can be simultaneously logged in and playing. We expect this to result in smaller queues for realms that have large queues, and some realms should no longer have queues at all.
We will closely monitor performance and stability throughout this process.
Thank you very much.
Blizzard also send out a tweet, letting everyone know about the hotfix.
