It is beginning to look like Valorant’s beta will begin on April 7. In addition, there is currently a closed Beta event for content creators and streamers hosted by Riot Games.

early impressions on Valorant gameplay and overall feel of the game from several esports pros and streamers of different games that i've spoken to has been extremely positive

this of course is after only 2 hours of beta test playtime and it's way too early to really see how Valorant will play, but all of the players i've spoken to are longtime veteran FPS players that come from a wide variety of games including CS, OW, R6, Apex, and Fortnite

In addition, there are rumors that the Beta for the public (probably closed) will take place on April 7

According to sources, Riot games will host a beta on april 7, 2020 At 2PM EST.

-Have a Riot Games account
-Associate your Riot account with Twitch
-Watch streamers on Valorant

Whether the beta of Valorant will actually go live on April 7, we have to wait for that.
But with the current event in progress, it is possible that this will actually take place on that date
