Asmongold criticizes Destiny’s “pay to win” battle pass monetization

Asmongold was given an explanation of the battle pass monetization system in Destiny 2, and it was made clear that players could purchase access to some of the best weapons in the game.
After going viral, Aztecross’ video describing how he feels Destiny 2 has devolved into a “microtransaction hell” has reached a wider audience and gained traction outside of the Destiny community.

Asmongold watched the video and said that Bungie “crossed the line” in terms of how the game should be monetized, claiming that it was “obviously pay to win” in the game.
