In the latest season, there was a bug that let players use any perk on any craftable weapon, even exotic ones. This created an unfair advantage with certain weapon combinations.
Bungie has been working hard to fix this bug, which some players thought was causing the disconnects and errors. However, the developers now say it’s not related to the issues.
Bungie is still working on the item exploit, and with the help of the player community, they hope to resolve these problems soon.
